Cut directly from an original WW2 pattern in our archive, it has been refined for a more balanced and comfortable fit while preserving the authentic shape and detailing of the original Battle of Britain model. To make it more practical for everyday wear, we have added two side pockets for comfort and two inside pockets for essentials such as a phone or wallet. It is crafted from thick, full-grain sheepskin with a soft 20 mm fleece lining that provides exceptional insulation and structure. The classic details from the original RAF jacket remain, made with full respect for the craftsmanship of the 1940s. Even the zippers are custom-made to replicate the original “Lightning” design used on wartime RAF jackets. The RAF Flying Jacket Mk.II is our take on the legendary RAF jacket — reimagined for modern life in a practical everyday version.
