Description THE M-445A FLIGHT JACKET During World War II, the U.S. Navy used the M-445A flight jacket as its primary winter flying jacket. Unlike the U.S. Army, whose aviation operations often occurred in colder regions, the Navy’s aviation primarily operated in warmer climates. As a result, the sheepskin jackets used by the Navy are relatively less recognized and explored in comparison to the famous B3 jacket. Our M-445A flight jacket is based on an authentic WW2 M-445A Flight Jacket from our collection. We have recreated its pattern, and ensured that every essential detail was faithfully incorporated into our design.
